In summer, a manager from a video production company in Helsinki contacted us. The company was moving into a new office and was looking for a place to order tabletops and décor.
In total, we needed to produce four tabletops for the office and meeting rooms, one bar countertop, and a decorative partition made from solid boards.
All tabletops were of impressive size-on average about one meter wide and 2.5-3 meters long, 40 mm thick. Orders of this scale can only be made using glued panels.
We calculated the full furniture set in several wood species-walnut, oak, and ash-and in different quality grades. Taking the budget and design preferences into account, the client chose ash.
Next, we prepared color samples and approved a white pigmented oil finish.
The client sent a reference for the partition, and our task was to make the same elements but according to the client’s dimensions.
For these details, we used solid white ash panels with a thickness of 20 mm.
In addition to all the wooden elements, the client also ordered six metal legs for the tabletops. Some of the tabletops were so large that they required three legs instead of two to ensure proper support.
Production and shipping took just over a week.
After installation, the client sent us photos of the office, which we are happy to share with you.
