Ukraine is the largest country in Europe (excluding Russia). 16% of its territory is covered by forests. As for 2012, the total forest volume was 10 million hectares.
The most common tree species include pine (35%), oak (28%) and beech (9%).
The forests are located unevenly over the territory, with the bulk of the volume in the western and northwestern regions of the country.
The material that we offer to customers comes just from these territories, namely, Zakarpattya, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi regions.
These three areas are united by the Carpathian Mountains. Such a climate favors thequality of the material.
We receive oak from Western Ukraine, as well as cherry, walnut, beech and ash.
All these hardwoods grow in the Carpathians and adjacent areas.
